The Software Services business unit of Insight Consultants is seeking a Junior Software Engineer who is passionate about developing software, and wishes to build a career as a confident software professional ready to provide appropriate solutions to clients on an international.

Minimum Education

Undergraduate degree in engineering.

Certifications

Any relevant certification focused on continual improvement and growth will be recognized.
Certifications in Microsoft certifications on .Net or any relevant technology are a plus.

The Role you will play

Understand the requirement (high level and detail) based on which you are to develop your application.
Develop and manage code blocks and modules assigned to you
Work closely with your team and team leader to ensure the quality of every deliverable assigned to you.
Gain an understanding of the application (functionally and architecturally) you are working in and the domain it
is developed for.
Thoroughly unit test the code set assigned to you, so that it does not require subsequent quality checks when it
is being integrated with the rest of the application.
Upskill in areas such as estimation, documentation, and communication.
Adhere to the methods and processes used as a company standard.
