Location: HRBR Layout, Bangalore
Work mode: On-site / Hybrid
Role type: Internship
Duration: 3 months, full-time internship — with potential for full-time conversion based
on performance
Experience: Recent graduated fresher with coursework or project experience
About the Role
We are seeking two motivated recent graduates to join our Analytics team as interns. You will contribute to live client projects across industries, building, debugging, and validating data pipelines, cloud data warehouses, business intelligence dashboards, and financial analytics solutions. You will also develop AI models and agents using prepared client data. Your work will support clients’ daily operational and financial decisions.
What You’ll Work On
Data Pipeline Development
- 1. Build and maintain ETL/ELT notebooks and pipelines (PySpark/SQL) that ingest raw source data and transform it through cleaning, deduplication, and business-rule layers.
- 2. Work with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, Delta tables, and SQL Server analytics endpoints to model fact and dimension tables.
Model/Agent Development
- 1. Build lightweight AI agents and RAG-based tools on top of cleaned client data — for example, a chatbot that answers questions against a client’s Power BI/Fabric dataset, or an agent that automates a recurring
reconciliation/QA check. Work primarily with LLM APIs (e.g., Claude, OpenAI) and orchestration frameworks
(e.g., LangChain, or similar).
Documentation & Collaboration
- 1. Maintain clear notes on schema definitions, business rules, and known data issues so work is traceable and repeatable.
- 2. Collaborate with senior engineers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data models, Agents and reports.
- 3. Participate in code reviews and follow structured, incremental development practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1. Bachelor’s degree (recent graduate or final year) in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2. Coursework or project experience involving data pipelines, ETL, or AI Model development /RAG etc.
- 3. Solid proficiency in Python (or willingness to learn quickly for data transformation scripts/notebooks).
- 4. Solid understanding of SQL — able to write joins, aggregations, and window functions confidently.
- 5. Understanding of relational database concepts (keys, normalization, fact/dimension modeling).
- 6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — comfortable digging into messy, real-world data to find root causes.
- 7. Strong Iterative problem-solving skills
- 8. Good written communication skills for documenting findings and technical decisions.
- 9. Eagerness to learn cloud data platforms and BI tools on the job.
Good to Have (Not Mandatory)
- 1. Exposure to Power BI or any BI/visualization tool.
- 2. Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar).
- 3. Coursework or project experience involving data pipelines, ETL, or data warehousing concepts.
- 4. Basic knowledge of Git/version control.
- 5. Prior internship, academic project, or personal project involving data analysis or engineering.
What We Offer
- 1. Hands-on experience working on live, production data engineering projects for real clients — not simulated exercises.
- 2. Direct mentorship from experienced data engineers and exposure to modern data stack tools (Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Spark/SQL, cloud data warehouses).
- 3. Exposure across the full data lifecycle — ingestion, transformation, modelling, reporting, Agentic AI, and
reconciliation/QA. - 4. A structured learning path with clear feedback and the opportunity to convert to a full-time Data Engineer role based on performance.
